These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of streethebrew.com (the “Site”) and any Hebrew lessons or related materials provided by Street Hebrew, run by Addam Corré (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Site or booking a lesson, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book lessons with us.
1. About Street Hebrew
Street Hebrew is a private, one-on-one Hebrew teaching service operated from Israel. Lessons are delivered online or in person, by appointment.
2. Booking lessons
- Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement, by email or phone
- The first lesson is offered as a free trial — no payment required
- Subsequent lessons are paid per agreed rate, communicated before booking
- Lesson length, frequency, and materials are tailored to each student
3. Payment
- Payment is due as agreed when each lesson or lesson package is booked
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
- Prices are quoted in either Israeli Shekels (ILS) or US Dollars (USD), as agreed
4. Cancellations & refunds
- Cancellation by you: Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice can be rescheduled at no charge
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full
- Cancellation by us: If we need to cancel a lesson, we will reschedule it at the next mutually convenient time at no extra cost
- Prepaid lesson packages: Unused lessons can be refunded on a pro-rata basis up to 14 days after purchase. After 14 days, packages are non-refundable but remain valid for 12 months from purchase
5. Lesson conduct
We aim to provide a respectful, professional learning environment. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone behaving in a way that is abusive, harassing, or inappropriate.
6. Intellectual property
All lesson materials — including worksheets, audio files, slide decks, and written content on the Site — are the intellectual property of Street Hebrew. They are provided for personal, non-commercial use by enrolled students. You may not redistribute, sell, or republish these materials without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. example sentences, written homework). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for the purpose of delivering your lessons.
7. Site content & disclaimer
Articles, blog posts, and other content on the Site are provided in good faith for general informational and educational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that all information is complete or current.
The Site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to lessons, the Site, or these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to lost income or missed opportunities arising from a missed or rescheduled lesson.
9. Privacy
Use of the Site and our lessons is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site or our lessons after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Israel.
